When the environment inspires art

The workshops «Art and the Enviroment» will take place at the Historic Centre - D. Areopagitou St., Thissio from 5th May to 5th June.

Students from the A & C sculpture workshops of the School of Fine Arts will be working under the supervision of their professors Mr. Theodorou Papayianni and Giorgos Houliaras. The students will be working at the newly renovated area next to the Thission metro station. In the area where the two archeological sites meet, one will be able to take strolls among the sculptures which have been inspired by water.

The two professors of the School of Fine Arts want to sensitize their students by taking part in the events of the Eco Festival, since they believe that the protection of the environment is one of the most important topics of our society.
