The “Pyramids of Naxos” was exhibited at :
Klathmonos Square from 05.05 –10.05
the Municipality of Maroussi ( 9 Vassilisis Sofias Avenue and D. Moscha) from 10.05-05.06
Singrou Park ( 184 Kifissias Avenue - Maroussi) 05.06
“Little” pyramids were spread over Athens and filled with empty tins of the surrounding community. On the 6th of May those pyramids were added to a single “big” pyramid of 4 x 4 meters at Klathmonos Square of Athens.
This activity intends to point out the dimensions of missing concepts of avoiding, separating or recycling the daily waste of an area. The amount of waste is growing day by day all over the world. Its intension is to show that using the tin as an example, the single amount of waste like the empty tin – collected in a limited short time, might be a neglectable amount, but the collected amount of several such so called “single amounts” from different locations will have all together such dimensions that it cannot be overseen anymore.
