“Paper Prints of Sewage Covers Throughout the World”

This Art Exhibition was presented at the Cultural Center of the City of Athens “Melina”  (66 Iraklidon and Thessalonikis Str.) in Thissio from  07.05- 20.05 . The opening hours of the exhibition were 9.00-13.00  & 17.00-21.00 except Mondays and Sunday afternoon.

Christoph Feichtinger with rare consistency and radicalism took a step which amounted to a virtual withdrawal from the entire hitherto history of art to date. He shows, in the direct meaning of the word, exactly what was unnoticed, omitted, and which surrounds us permanently; ornaments emerging from simplest geometrical forms which can be seen both in urban products of industrial processes but also in art items originating from a plethora of ancient cultures. The works of Christoph Feichtinger are nevertheless not only a source of “Emotional Energy” which incidentally constitutes the core of his interpretation of art, but are  also a school of seeing and understanding.
