The aim of the organization is the creation of a new model relationship between man and environment which can be achieved through the change in man's mentality.

Its goals are:

• To contribute to the awareness of citizens about the issues of protecting the environment.
• To change the existing attitude towards the models of production and consuming, so that the exhaustion of natural resources and the destruction of the environment may be prevented.
• To activate the people to lead a new way of life, that will not only respect the environment but will consider its protection a primary duty.

The resources of "Clean Up Greece" come from subscriptions, subsidies and donations of members and friends, as well as subsidies or contributions from the private and public sector.

"Clean Up Greece" participates in the activities of "Clean Up the World" initiative under the auspices of UNEP.
